Oscar Napoleon Vick III was born May 12, 1945 in Belfast, Northern
Ireland. His father was Oscar Napoleon Vick, Jr. who married Jane
McDowell of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Vick Family is from
Charleston, South Carolina. The lowcountry has been their home for
many years.

III grew up in Charleston and he graduated from St. Andrew's
Parish High School. |
He entered Clemson in 1963 with an
Exchange Club Scholarship. Mr. Vick graduated from Clemson in
December 1967 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
He entered the U.S. Army after that. Upon completion of his
military service, he returned to Clemson and graduated with a
Masters Degree in Industrial Education. |
